Author of Loose Change: Picking up the Pieces
S.Z. Putnam is a Hmong American writer from Wisconsin. Her works are composed from life experiences revolving around love, trauma, grief, hope and healing.
S.Z. has had a love affair of writing her entire life and was always consuming works of literature in her youth. She continued writing short stories and essays in college and thrived while expressing herself through her words. After mid-life trauma in her personal life, she stopped writing and only recently resumed: this time with poetry. She has found poetry to be an effective tool as an insight to her mind. Being a poet has helped her navigate her healing journey.
S.Z. also pens as Ess or E.Z. Putnam (@esszputnam) on Instagram and Facebook.
